Description
For sale is a collector's commemorative medal with the motif of the Brandenburg Gate and a depiction of Ronald Reagan. The coinage is reminiscent of the historic speech of US President Ronald Reagan in Berlin in 1987 with the famous appeal "Tear down the Wall".
The motif side shows Ronald Reagan in front of the Brandenburg Gate with the inscription "200 Years of the Brandenburg Gate" and the reference to the year 1987. The reverse shows the federal eagle with the inscription "Unity and Justice and Freedom".
An interesting collector's item on contemporary German history, German reunification and the memory of the Cold War.
