The AUTO 3 PTZ decay test instruments are equipped in full compliance with the requirements of the USP <701/2040> and EP <2.9.1/2.9.2.1> pharmacopoeias. A large 320x240 pixel LCD display and alphanumeric keypad allow product and test information to be changed, such as the decay time for each station, bath and medium temperature. The total test time for the station is displayed at the end of a run. The operator intervention to stop a run is also displayed. Print the individual decay time of each sample when you have visually detected the disintegration of the sample under test by simply pressing the corresponding character key (1-6). All this information can be printed as a test report when a PCL printer is connected to the parallel printer port of the instruments. Built-in heating system uses a quiet circulation pump and heating element to preheat the outdoor water bath over a range of 25 to 45 °C ; the actual temperature of the bath is always displayed and measured by an external manual temperature sensor. Overheat protection ensures automatic shut-off of the pump and heating element in the event of no water flow detection. A Built-in safety system including overheat detection sensor, thermoswitch and Thermal fuse shuts off the heating when the temperature exceeds +60 °C or 95 °C max. heating element level.
