Description
Very nice opportunity for a 4800L enameled reactor of premium quality, in excellent condition, with its backrest. Configuration:  5 stages of blades leading to a very good homogeneity of agitation and allowing the reactor to be used in sections of 1/5. It can therefore be used at different filling levels 1/5, 2/5, 3/5, 4/5 or 5/5.  Turbines of type TBX, consisting of a 5-stage CRYO-LOCK* shaft with a shaft head of Ø 100 mm in accordance with DIN 28 159. Distance from the bottom of the reactor: 200 mm. • 1 CRYO-LOCK type TBX impeller (4 blades per hub), 860 mm in diameter for the lower level. • 4 CRYO-LOCK type TBX turbines (4 blades per hub), 820 mm in diameter for each of the following levels.  Bowl with 2 counter-blades. One has a built-in sampler, the other is equipped with a double temperature probe.  Mechanical seal with Interseal Dry9000 lip seals. Nitrogen lubrication  Double envelope: 300L. There are 3 coil zones, allowing only the lower zone to be heated, or 2 or 3 zones depending on the reactor load.  Foamglas® insulation (top quality), covered with stainless steel. So chargeable as is on cradles.  Enamel condition: excellent, no signs of damage, no tantalum screws. PPG PHARMAGLASS** premium "light blue" special enamel with ASG (anti-static glass) special anti-static finish, with the manufacturer stating that corrosion resistance is not affected by anti-static properties.  Sold with enamel column and Pfaudler sample collector Previous operating conditions for wear assessment: see notes Plans and technical details, see attached documents Available Equipment Record
Remarks
* The shaft is cooled with liquid nitrogen for the insertion of the blade modules. Once cooling is complete, the shaft expands and the blade module locks. ** Advantage of "light blue" enamel over white enamel (manufacturer information): does not absorb light inside the device: o Allows the visual detection of white films of product residues in the tank during the cleaning phase. o Better resistance in alkaline environments (longer life per acid/base cycle). o Absence of heavy metals in PPG enamel, making it ideal for FDA applications. o Low roughness (Ra) Reactors were used only for crystallization, never for chemical reactions. There has therefore been no ageing due to severe chemical reaction conditions inside, even though they are designed for this (-1/+6 bar). The maximum temperature was 70 °C. The cooling rate was only 1 °C/h. Only one product was used. The unit has been in operation for only 2 years and has been out of service for about 2 years. Complete file available, pdf and paper
