With VZW VOLIMUS we can ensure that this can be fulfilled, for those who are no longer mobile or for those who need medical support. Transport and guidance during the trip are free of charge thanks to our volunteers and sponsors. Wish question The wish question comes from the person concerned and can be diverse, ranging from attending a family party, a day at the seaside, home, a museum visit, a walk in the woods, a boat trip, visiting meaningful places ... to what is within our capabilities. We do our utmost to fulfill every wish in a timely manner in an atmosphere of understanding and serenity. We do all this through a short conversation, if necessary supported by family, friends, power of attorney and/or caregivers. This is important to be able to make this wish day run in comfort. Wish ambulance Our wish ambulance is similar to a traditional ambulance, albeit much more comfortable. Adjustments mean that the wish day can be experienced optimally, ranging from windows all around that allow panoramic view, a comfortable stretcher that can be adjusted in two directions, to two screens to view photos and/or films that you can supply yourself. Other things are, for example, pneumatic tires for both the stretcher and the wheelchair, which make it possible to brave difficult to drive on ground (e.g. beach). From a medical point of view, there is little difference, all aids are at our disposal when necessary. Who we are As founders, we are people with a mission, we do this with our hearts and therefore also on a voluntary basis. We also ensure that each volunteer has the necessary qualifications and integrity. Above all, we make this wish day a human day.
