This HBM Insect Killer – Fly Killer – Mosquito Lamp lures mosquitoes and other insects via its blue UV light and then electrocutes them by means of the voltage grid. The lamp can be used both freestanding and mounted on a ceiling with the included chain. The lamp works best when there is as little other light as possible. The lamp should only be used in enclosed spaces. This is because UV devices should not be used outdoors, as non-selective insect traps (devices with UV light as a lure) catch not only harmful but also beneficial insects. The insect killer is available in two versions. A more compact 20 watt version
