Description
The Williams Formula 1 team had a partnership with the Italian scooter manufacturer Italjet at the end of the nineties. In 1996 and 1997, the Williams F1 team, then sponsored by Rothmans, used specially prepared scooters as transport in the Paddock. These scooters had the characteristic blue, white and gold livery of the team of the time. Limited Editions of the Formula 50 scooters were also made for the public (reportedly 1000 pieces) known as the Williams F1 Edition. World champion Damon Hillen and his teammate Jacques Villeneuve also each had an Italjet scooter at their disposal.
This Paddock scooter belonged to the Dutch driver Christian Alberts.
