We are big fans of this type of wood. Douglas is very easy to work with and has a beautiful appearance. The wood comes from Europe and has an expected lifespan of 15 years untreated. This type of wood owes its durability to the high concentration of resin in the wood, which provides protection from the inside out. As with larch wood, knots and knots can occur in the wood. Clear Douglas wood naturally has a pink/yellow color and ages beautifully. Even during the graying, the beautiful 'flame' in the wood is preserved.

De minimumleeftijd voor het bezoeken van de kijk- en ophaaldagen is 18 jaar. Bezoekers moeten zich kunnen identificeren.
Tijdens de ophaaldag is een vorkheftruck met chauffeur beschikbaar, die kosteloos gebruikt kan worden. De maximale hefcapaciteit bedraagt 2 ton in Nederweert en 2.5 ton in Helmond.
Gebruik van de vorkheftruck geschiedt geheel op eigen risico. Daarnaast kunnen zich wachttijden voordoen.
