For sale is a Daimler-Benz 1222F, built in 1984, which has been extensively converted into an expedition vehicle. The vehicle was used as a fire engine until 2021 and was then converted into a full-fledged expedition and motorhome with motorhome registration.

Expansion and equipment

Air-sprung driver and passenger seats as well as TVs in the cab.

Insulated living cabin with internal dimensions of approx. 360 × 230 cm (L × W). Passage between the cab and the living cabin, so that a change is possible without having to leave the vehicle.

The on-board electronics were equipped with Votronic components, including a Pb 1240 SMT 3b charger and an MPP 350 Duo digital solar controller. Solar panels and lithium-ion batteries are used for self-sufficient power supply.

Other equipment: Autoterm parking heater, Truma boiler, manual rear winch, motorcycle rack, rear garage with fresh and waste water tanks as well as stainless steel side cases accessible from the outside under the living cabin.

Documentation

Almost complete documentation of the conversion and E-plan available. According to the owner, the pure conversion costs amounted to approx. 80,000 euros.

Window seal partially defective.
Minor rust spot on the passenger side at the rear bottom right.
