Description
CAM Type AV 78 Vertical Cartoning Machine This vertical and intermittently operating cartoner is mounted on a mobile framework and has a maximum output of between 15 and 60 cartons per minute. The machine is arranged for variable speed operation and is suitable for cartoning products which cannot be fed automatically. Flat cartons are loaded vertically into an infeed magazine. As they move forward, they are extracted by a vacuum sucker, erected and transferred into an adjustable carrier chain. The cartons are moved through various stations of the machine where the lower main carton flap is coded with batch numbers, sell-by-dates etc. prior to closing. The cartoner is offered complete with a Colour coder. The design of the upper flap allows correct and easy manual filling of the carton. The machine is currently fitted with a feeding assembly for pre-folded leaflets. Leaflets are placed into a magazine and are extracted by vacuum and are fed automatically. The feeding track has a length of approx. 100 cm and allows up to 2 operators to fill the cartons with different products. The upper flaps are then closed automatically and the filled and closed carton is discharged from the carrier chain. The Cartoner is fitted with a GUK Leaflet Folder and Inserter and with a colour coder. Manufacturer: IWK Year of construction: 1987 Floor Space: 370 x 160 x 170
