Description
This modern, mobile coding machine is suitable for hot-foil printing or debossing of cartons or thermally sensitive materials with batch numbers, expiry dates and other information. The machine comprises a stainless steel cabinet, which supports the drive motor and carton transfer assemblies. It also supports the coding head, which comprises a Graseby Allen Hot Foil Coder. The Allen Coder is infinitely adjustable lengthways and sideways enabling it to code almost anywhere on the Cartons. It is currently fitted with a coding block suitable for up to 5 rows of information. The maximum print area of this block is 60 mm long x 30 mm wide. The machine can handle Cartons within the following size ranges: Minimum 80 x 30 mm Maximum 460 x 250 mm Cartons are selected from an adjustable stack feeder and transferred by a mechanical pusher to the coding head. After coding they are transferred to a variable speed outfeed belt, which is fitted with a stacking device. The machine is arranged for variable speed operation up to a maximum of 140 prints / minute depending on the application. It is offered complete with an electronic counter, which counts the number of items coded. It can also be pre-set to code a predetermined number of items. Operator controls including machine speed, outfeed speed, dwell timer, batch Start/Stop and coding head controls are grouped in a panel at the front of the machine. An external supply of compressed air (6 bar) is required.
