Equipped with: Volvo TD100, six-cylinder in-line engine with 9,602 cm³, 260 hp, fully synchronized 8-speed gearbox, power steering, independent third brake circuit, progressive suspension system, increased interior height and straight rear wall, in 1965 Volvo introduced the "System 8" and presented the N88 as the successor to the Titan.
