Description
For sale is a commemorative medal for the 10th anniversary of German unity and the 50th anniversary of the Federal Republic of Germany.
The obverse shows the Brandenburg Gate with the years 1989 and 1999 and the striking inscription "10 Years of German Unity". The motif commemorates the reunification of Germany and the historical events after the fall of the Berlin Wall.
The reverse shows the map of Germany with the federal eagle and the inscription "50 years of the Federal Republic of Germany".
An interesting collector's item on contemporary German history for coin and medal collectors as well as those interested in history.
