About this lot

• Welcome to Olbernhau - where tradition meets modernity and quality of life finds a home! • This unique property offers you the opportunity to be part of a vibrant community in the heart of the Ore Mountains. Known for its rich history and picturesque landscape, Olbernhau is the ideal place for anyone who values tranquility and closeness to nature without having to part with the amenities of modern life. • The property with a full basement and built in 1880 is located directly on the B171 and offers excellent accessibility and good transport links to nearby towns and cultural institutions. Whether you want to enjoy the idyllic tranquility of country life or explore the region's diverse leisure options - Olbernhau offers something for everyone. • For those who value modern communication, a DSL connection is already available, so you're always connected to the world. • The property is not currently connected to the central waste disposal system, but there is a possibility to easily adapt this and thus enjoy the convenience of modern waste disposal. • A special feature of this property is the ability to adapt to your needs. Although the mezzanine floor was damaged in one place by a leaking sink, this provides the perfect opportunity to decorate this home according to your own ideas. • The approximately 250m² of living space, spread over 3 floors and a total of approximately 12 rooms, offers enough potential to create a multi-generational home or a house with several separate apartments. • With a plot of approximately 460m², which is quietly located behind the house, there is enough space for families with children and pets. • For the full text, open the file under documents!

Frequently asked questions

How do I place a bid?

You can easily participate in the auction through the website. Log in as usual and navigate to the lot of your choice. On the right side of the screen, you will find 'Bid' and 'Auto Bid.' Click on 'How does this work' for more information about automatic bidding.

Click on 'Bid' to see the total amount of your bid, including the buyer's premium and VAT. After accepting the general terms and user conditions by checking the box, click 'Confirm' to place the bid.

What is reserve price?

A reserve price is the (non-visible!) minimum amount that a seller has set for a lot and is the lowest price for which the seller is willing to sell. The highest bidder who meets or exceeds this price wins.

If this price is not met, you can still have a chance to win. The closer your bid is to the reserve price, the greater your chance of winning this lot.

The lot is awarded to the highest bidder whose bid is equal to - or higher than - the reserve price at the end of the auction. If the highest bid has met the reserve price or more, the lot is sold immediately for this price.

What costs are added to my bid?

In addition to your bid, additional costs are incurred in the form of a buyer's premium percentage and VAT. These percentages vary depending on the country. VAT is applied to both your bid and the buyer's premium. Before confirming your bid, you will always receive an overview detailing all relevant amounts associated with your bid, including the final total. This way, you are fully informed about the total amount of your bid.

What is an auto bid versus a manual bid?

An auto bid is a way for you to automatically participate in a bidding process. You enter an amount you are willing to pay for an item and then automatic bids are placed for you up to your maximum bid - but only if necessary. Your maximum bid is hidden from other bidders during the auction. Placed auto bids are indicated by an "A" after the placed bid in the bid history. You need to update a manual bid every time someone outbids you. Keep in mind that an auto bid in the same level as a later manual bid will always lead the auction - because it was placed first.
