Description
Eric Toebosch: Eric Toebosch's current work depicts man, in the guise of an angel. He is depicted frontally and rigidly. In terms of form and color scheme, the compositions are reminiscent of icons, Byzantine sacred art. This is further enhanced by the frequent use of gold paint. But there is more going on within it than the strictly religious reference. Toebosch's work is also characterized by his strong ability to put things into perspective and the often humorous details.
Remarks
Since 1987, art from the STIMA stock has been rented out and sold to private collectors and is advised for corporate collections.
