Description
The SDT Ultrasonic Multi-Transmitter (Model SDT 170 S) is the entry-level handset in the SDT 170 platform. It features an internal airborne ultrasonic sensor paired with a user-friendly, ergonomic aluminium body protected by anti-shock insulation. The handheld unit is operated via an eight-key touchpad and displays measurements on a segmented analog bar graph. It excels in detecting compressed air and vacuum leaks, inspecting electrical issues such as arcing or corona, steam-trap functionality, and general mechanical inspections where trending and complex data logging aren't required.
