- >> We are proud to be able to auction a few cars from the beautiful private collection of a former, very successful racing driver. By the way, if a car outside this auction arouses your interest in the general photos, you can also contact us for that. _ _ _ The Scotty GT is a low and wide race car build, aimed at the big boys who perform within FIA GT, and combines brutality with beautiful lines. Thanks to the 'spaceframe' (own specification, via Thiebaut Racing) of Chrome Molybdenum, you get a lightweight, which also has great strength and stiffness due to polyester & carbon (own specification, via Van Thull Development). The chassis has been developed from scratch by AST Suspensions, based on a Porsche 993 GT2, where the extensive modifications include three-way-adjustable shock absorbers (resulting in sublime (mechanical) grip). Porsche parts provide the quality and reliability you need in racing, and in this case (because such a Scotty exists in 3 variants) it goes on a 3.8 RSR engine coupled to a 993 GT2 gearbox. You can admire and judge it yourself; but only during a specific reserved viewing moment. _ _ _ _ _ So, this lot shows moderate traces of use (or during the viewing 'Viewing day' you can possibly form an important opinion of your own) and is further equipped with; ... _ _ _ _ You have to make a reservation for that Viewing Day (because sometimes lots are moved) and that is initially via e-mail to info@ HaspengouwClassics.eu (If the official moment really doesn't fit, we may find another one.) _ _ _ The Pick-up is standard in Hasselt (Belgium) in this exceptional case in TONGEREN/ Belgian North Limburg/ North Brabant (NL) ... Especially when it comes to old-timers, project cars, cars that have been standing still for a while or exceptional vehicles. We may be able to arrange transport on request.
