Scotty GT (project-base)

By the way, if a car outside this auction arouses your interest in the general photos, you can also contact us for that. _ _ _ The Scotty GT is a low and wide race car build, aimed at the big boys who perform within FIA GT, and combines brutality with beautiful lines. Thanks to the 'spaceframe' (own specification, via Thiebaut Racing) of Chrome Molybdenum, you get a lightweight, which also has great strength and stiffness due to polyester & carbon (own specification, via Van Thull Development). The chassis has been developed from scratch by AST Suspensions, based on a Porsche 993 GT2, where the extensive modifications include three-way-adjustable shock absorbers (resulting in sublime (mechanical) grip). Porsche parts provide the quality and reliability you need in racing, but in this case (such a Scotty normally exists in 3 variants) it is therefore a "rolling chassis" project; without engine or gearbox. Most of the parts for further construction are still there (see photo series). You can admire and judge it yourself; but only during a specific reserved viewing moment. _ _ _ _ _ So, this lot is intended as a project, for complete restoration or just parts (and during the viewing 'Viewing day' you can possibly form an important opinion of your own). You have to make a reservation for that Viewing Day (because sometimes lots are moved) and that is initially via e-mail to info@ HaspengouwClassics.eu (If the official moment really doesn't fit, we may find another one.) _ _ _ The Pick-up is standard in REGIO Hasselt (Belgium), and in order to ensure a smooth process, it is also mandatory to request it first and in time via our e-mail address (info@ HaspengouwClassics.eu).
