About this lot

In the bankruptcy of Amslod (Dutch E-Mobility Group BV), the trustee is aware of the recall of a total of approximately 2000 front forks in certain types of Amslod bicycles. This recall is from the period before the date of bankruptcy of Amslod and has largely already been carried out (also before the date of bankruptcy). This recall was supervised by the Dutch Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority. Unfortunately, from the date of Amslod's declaration of bankruptcy, the recall could not be completed. In view of the bankruptcy, the trustee is unable to perform the necessary replacement work towards the affected bicycle owner. The trustee did find approximately 500 (new) front forks in the bankruptcy estate that can still be offered for repair to the bicycle owners within the recall. The trustee wishes to offer the bicycle owners in question the opportunity to have a new front fork mounted in their Amslod bicycle. The receiver therefore offers the approximately 500 front forks in the present auction as one lot, whereby it is up to the buyer to contact the bicycle owners involved to replace and install these front forks. It is up to the buyer (of the lot or 500 front forks) to agree on a price with the relevant bicycle owner for the delivery and installation of the new front fork. In doing so, the trustee tries to meet the interests of the parties involved as much as possible in view of the bankruptcy. Any bid on the lot in question or 500 front forks can therefore only be made on the entire lot as currently offered, with due observance of the above. The names of the bicycle owners in question are not known to the trustee.

Frequently asked questions

How do I place a bid?

You can easily participate in the auction through the website. Log in as usual and navigate to the lot of your choice. On the right side of the screen, you will find 'Bid' and 'Auto Bid.' Click on 'How does this work' for more information about automatic bidding.

Click on 'Bid' to see the total amount of your bid, including the buyer's premium and VAT. After accepting the general terms and user conditions by checking the box, click 'Confirm' to place the bid.

What is reserve price?

A reserve price is the (non-visible!) minimum amount that a seller has set for a lot and is the lowest price for which the seller is willing to sell. The highest bidder who meets or exceeds this price wins.

If this price is not met, you can still have a chance to win. The closer your bid is to the reserve price, the greater your chance of winning this lot.

The lot is awarded to the highest bidder whose bid is equal to - or higher than - the reserve price at the end of the auction. If the highest bid has met the reserve price or more, the lot is sold immediately for this price.

What costs are added to my bid?

In addition to your bid, additional costs are incurred in the form of a buyer's premium percentage and VAT. These percentages vary depending on the country. VAT is applied to both your bid and the buyer's premium. Before confirming your bid, you will always receive an overview detailing all relevant amounts associated with your bid, including the final total. This way, you are fully informed about the total amount of your bid.

What is an auto bid versus a manual bid?

An auto bid is a way for you to automatically participate in a bidding process. You enter an amount you are willing to pay for an item and then automatic bids are placed for you up to your maximum bid - but only if necessary. Your maximum bid is hidden from other bidders during the auction. Placed auto bids are indicated by an "A" after the placed bid in the bid history. You need to update a manual bid every time someone outbids you. Keep in mind that an auto bid in the same level as a later manual bid will always lead the auction - because it was placed first.
