About this lot

year 2024 ; Industrial 3D printer with ready-to-use carbon fiber to create durable and reliable parts. Z-axis resolution 50 μm - 250 μm Printing materials Composite filaments, continuous fibers Internal part geometry Closed-cell filling with continuous fiber reinforcement Print bed High precision ground composite Printing technology Continuous fiber reinforcement process (CFR) Working volume W 330 mm D 270 mm At 200 mm Compatible materials Onyx™ Onyx FR™ Onyx ESD™ Nylon Precise PLA Smooth TPU 95A Carbon Fiber FR Carbon Fiber Fiberglass Aramid fiber (Kevlar®) HSHT Fiberglass The Markforged X7 industrial carbon fiber 3D printer with CFR technology combines precision hardware, advanced sensors, and proprietary software to deliver accurate parts in a repeatable manner. It features a reinforced and precision-machined frame and a high-precision ground print bed, which can be removed and replaced with a repeatability of 10 μm. Every element of the hardware in the filament extrusion system – from the nozzles to the extruder – is optimized to withstand the wear and tear of nylon filaments filled with carbon particles and maintain print quality for thousands of hours. Run-out sensors ensure prints are never interrupted, while a scanning laser on the print head allows the printer to dynamically adjust the first layers to achieve perfect adhesion to the print bed, and inspect parts for accuracy after printing. The X7 has a third-generation fiber reinforcement system that allows continuous fiber reinforcement to be placed inside the parts. Only Markforged composite printers are capable of printing continuous fiber-reinforced parts. Print Hours: 2262 Approximate transport dimensions: 750 x 700 x 1100 mm

Frequently asked questions

How do I place a bid?

You can easily participate in the auction through the website. Log in as usual and navigate to the lot of your choice. On the right side of the screen, you will find 'Bid' and 'Auto Bid.' Click on 'How does this work' for more information about automatic bidding.

Click on 'Bid' to see the total amount of your bid, including the buyer's premium and VAT. After accepting the general terms and user conditions by checking the box, click 'Confirm' to place the bid.

What is reserve price?

A reserve price is the (non-visible!) minimum amount that a seller has set for a lot and is the lowest price for which the seller is willing to sell. The highest bidder who meets or exceeds this price wins.

If this price is not met, you can still have a chance to win. The closer your bid is to the reserve price, the greater your chance of winning this lot.

The lot is awarded to the highest bidder whose bid is equal to - or higher than - the reserve price at the end of the auction. If the highest bid has met the reserve price or more, the lot is sold immediately for this price.

What costs are added to my bid?

In addition to your bid, additional costs are incurred in the form of a buyer's premium percentage and VAT. These percentages vary depending on the country. VAT is applied to both your bid and the buyer's premium. Before confirming your bid, you will always receive an overview detailing all relevant amounts associated with your bid, including the final total. This way, you are fully informed about the total amount of your bid.

What is an auto bid versus a manual bid?

An auto bid is a way for you to automatically participate in a bidding process. You enter an amount you are willing to pay for an item and then automatic bids are placed for you up to your maximum bid - but only if necessary. Your maximum bid is hidden from other bidders during the auction. Placed auto bids are indicated by an "A" after the placed bid in the bid history. You need to update a manual bid every time someone outbids you. Keep in mind that an auto bid in the same level as a later manual bid will always lead the auction - because it was placed first.
