About this lot

DINO 5: An autonomous earthwork machine: Breaking up – Vacuuming – Transporting. The substructure is always a tridem MAN truck type 35.540 TGS 8x4-4BL. The superstructure is from MTS. The three trucks are equipped with most existing options. These are explained in detail below. One truck also has an extra option that allows stones and soil, which are sucked up together, to be collected separately in two different containers. One container contains the coarse fraction, against which the fine fraction is collected separately in a second container. If necessary, this fine fraction can be reused on site. The DINO 5 is equipped with a bi-turbine turbo unit F-48.000 TURBO from MTS. This unit consists of two turbines that can deliver extra power in difficult conditions with their turbo mode. The classic bi-turbine unit F-36,000 from MTS has 36,000 m3/h air volume and 33,000 Pa negative pressure as core values. Against which the F-48,000 TURBO unit with a power of 240 kW, a fan diameter of 900 mm, an air volume of 48,000 m3/h, a vacuum of up to 46,000 Pa and a speed of up to 3300 rpm offers a remarkable added value. These turbines easily deliver a suction power of +/- 120 kg over a suction distance of up to 100 m and at a suction depth of up to 20 m. Hydraulic power arm – a hydraulic mobile proportional radio-controlled suction arm. Our trucks are equipped with a hydraulic working arm and not with a manual working arm, better known as a Dutch arm. A hydraulic arm is less stressful for the operators. Their work rhythm therefore remains constant. In general, we can say that the operators can operate the arm faster, easier and more correctly via the remote control. It is also not always possible to operate the arm manually. If the sucked hole becomes too large or too deep, it is impossible for the operator to remain standing next to the arm.
Remarks:
Suction nozzle - In conjunction with the power arm, the suction nozzle can be hydraulically rotated proportionally 360° in both directions and radio-controlled. The trucks are equipped with an IKE system that allows heavy and compacted soil to be loosened via a rotation of the suction nozzle without the use of a breaker or gas hammer. This again increases the return. Material cabinets and tools - must be mounted on the pedestrian side for the safety of the operators. The material cabinets are accessible from the pedestrian side. The operators do not always have to take passing traffic into account when they want to remove equipment from the truck. Furthermore, there are several breakers, air lances and even a gas hammer in each truck. All tools that do not have to be made available by you and increase the work rhythm. High-pressure cleaner with a water tank up to 1,000 liters. All cars are equipped with a high-pressure cleaner. In addition to compressed air, we can also use water in the free suction of underground structures. This high-pressure water pump of 50 l/min and 220 bar can draw water from a 1,000 liter reservoir. Substructure - hydrostatic and radio controlled, windscreen, reverse and steered from the workshop. The trucks are also equipped with automatic steering and driving systems. This system allows the truck to be moved without switching off the turbines. This way, no time is lost for shutting down the turbines, getting into the cab, putting the truck in driving mode, moving the truck to the next work hole, putting the truck back in suction mode, leaving the cab and restarting the turbines. We can steer the truck from one work hole to the next with turbines running without performing all these actions. It goes without saying that this increases the return. MEGA Arm with a working length of 10 m. The mega power arm allows for a longer range and a higher use of force. An extremely long and stable suction arm with 6 joints, a suction tube of 8 meters and a suction tube diameter of 250 mm. With the suction tube we have a range of over 10 meters. A radio control is then the solution.

Frequently asked questions

How do I place a bid?

You can easily participate in the auction through the website. Log in as usual and navigate to the lot of your choice. On the right side of the screen, you will find 'Bid' and 'Auto Bid.' Click on 'How does this work' for more information about automatic bidding.

Click on 'Bid' to see the total amount of your bid, including the buyer's premium and VAT. After accepting the general terms and user conditions by checking the box, click 'Confirm' to place the bid.

What is reserve price?

A reserve price is the (non-visible!) minimum amount that a seller has set for a lot and is the lowest price for which the seller is willing to sell. The highest bidder who meets or exceeds this price wins.

If this price is not met, you can still have a chance to win. The closer your bid is to the reserve price, the greater your chance of winning this lot.

The lot is awarded to the highest bidder whose bid is equal to - or higher than - the reserve price at the end of the auction. If the highest bid has met the reserve price or more, the lot is sold immediately for this price.

What costs are added to my bid?

In addition to your bid, additional costs are incurred in the form of a buyer's premium percentage and VAT. These percentages vary depending on the country. VAT is applied to both your bid and the buyer's premium. Before confirming your bid, you will always receive an overview detailing all relevant amounts associated with your bid, including the final total. This way, you are fully informed about the total amount of your bid.

What is an auto bid versus a manual bid?

An auto bid is a way for you to automatically participate in a bidding process. You enter an amount you are willing to pay for an item and then automatic bids are placed for you up to your maximum bid - but only if necessary. Your maximum bid is hidden from other bidders during the auction. Placed auto bids are indicated by an "A" after the placed bid in the bid history. You need to update a manual bid every time someone outbids you. Keep in mind that an auto bid in the same level as a later manual bid will always lead the auction - because it was placed first.
