Product The PM1401K-3 is the smallest and lightest device in the world, which can be used as an alarm device, detector, measuring device, spectrometer and identification device at the same time. The device can be used both indoors and outdoors and is intended for everyday and/or emergency use by employees of radiological and isotope engineering laboratories, specialists in various industries, agriculture, transportation, medicine, customs and border protection, fire brigade, military, police and other first responders. Principle The instrument performs a continuous measurement of the ambient dose rate of gamma and X-rays in the wide energy range, monitors alpha, beta and neutron radiation, acts as a spectrometer for gamma radiation and for the identification of radionuclides, and measures the contamination of food/soil with the radionuclide 137Cs. The instrument is equipped with built-in audible and visual alarms, a GPS module and a USB interface for PC communication. The non-volatile memory allows up to 10,000 events to be recorded and stored. The PM1401K-3 has a compact size and light weight, bright and color LCD display, shockproof and hermetic housing, and can be used in both indoor and outdoor environments. How do I place a bid?

What is reserve price?

A reserve price is the (non-visible!) minimum amount that a seller has set for a lot and is the lowest price for which the seller is willing to sell. The highest bidder who meets or exceeds this price wins.

If this price is not met, you can still have a chance to win. The closer your bid is to the reserve price, the greater your chance of winning this lot.

The lot is awarded to the highest bidder whose bid is equal to - or higher than - the reserve price at the end of the auction. If the highest bid has met the reserve price or more, the lot is sold immediately for this price.

What costs are added to my bid?

In addition to your bid, additional costs are incurred in the form of a buyer's premium percentage and VAT. These percentages vary depending on the country. VAT is applied to both your bid and the buyer's premium. Before confirming your bid, you will always receive an overview detailing all relevant amounts associated with your bid, including the final total. This way, you are fully informed about the total amount of your bid.

What is an auto bid versus a manual bid?

An auto bid is a way for you to automatically participate in a bidding process. You enter an amount you are willing to pay for an item and then automatic bids are placed for you up to your maximum bid - but only if necessary. Your maximum bid is hidden from other bidders during the auction. Placed auto bids are indicated by an "A" after the placed bid in the bid history. You need to update a manual bid every time someone outbids you. Keep in mind that an auto bid in the same level as a later manual bid will always lead the auction - because it was placed first.
