About this lot

Remarks:
>> Austin-Healey's 3000 was built in the UK from 1959 to 1967, and is best known for the so-called 'Big Healey' models. His sheet metal came from the famous Jensen Motors, and at MG Works (BMC) they were completely assembled, in addition to MGs. In terms of engineization, Austin-Healey's 2.6-liter was replaced by a 3-liter, and the performance was breathtaking for the time. During those years of production, the design changed from an open 2+2 seater to a real sports coupé. Interestingly, in 1963 more than 90% of the Austin-Healey 3000 was exported, mainly to North America. In addition, the 3000 was very successful in European rallies, and continues to do so today in many classic car competitions. So there is a type distinction between the 'BT7' with 2+2 seats and 'BN7' which means a pure two-seater. Of the first in its original Mark I version, 13,650 were built, while the pure roadster was assembled with 10,825. _ _ _ Our 'Mark One' 3000 is in very good condition, so it seems to be a top classic. The odometer reads "10,838" miles. In any case, he effortlessly brings back British glory years, as you can admire and judge for yourself; during a specific reserved viewing moment (in Tongeren). _ _ _ _ _ So, this lot only shows slight signs of wear, especially considering its age (or during the viewing 'Viewing day' you can form a possibly important opinion of your own), and is also provided with; 1 SET of keys, plus a very complete & neat farde of kept History (see photo series). _ _ _ A place on the accompanying viewing 'Viewing Day' is mandatory to reserve (because lots can sometimes be moved internally between locations). And that must initially info@HaspengouwClassics.eu via e-mail (in exceptional cases, another time can be agreed). _ _ _ In this exceptional case, the Pick-up is in TONGEREN, and in order to ensure a smooth process, it is also mandatory to first request via the same e-mail address (info@HaspengouwClassics.eu). Remember, when it comes to vintage cars, project cars, cars that stand still for a while or exceptional vehicles; that you come and pick up well prepared! We can arrange transport on request. All dates are subject to change.
