About this lot

For sale is a remaining stock of 15 wooden wall clocks with different motifs. The lot includes 11 vintage-style rectangular clocks measuring approximately 40 x 30 cm and 4 round clocks measuring 30 cm in diameter. All watches are made of durable natural wood with a thickness of 6 mm and are equipped with a silent quartz or radio-controlled movement (time signal transmitter DCF77 ). The dials are easy to read and feature black hour, minute and second hands. The image is printed in high-resolution, reflection-free digital printing process in artist's quality with brilliant colours. UV-resistant, odourless ECO-solvent ink is used, free of solvents and pollutants. The clocks are equipped with a pre-assembled metal hanger and are therefore ready to hang. A distance of 14 mm from the wall creates a free-floating look. A 1.5V AA battery is required for operation (not included). The goods are sold as seen. Pictures to illustrate the motifs, sizes and movement designs are attached. Quantities are based on internal recording and may vary slightly. It cannot be ruled out that individual parts have bearing damage. The goods are partially packaged, individual items are in individual boxes.

Frequently asked questions

How do I place a bid?

You can easily participate in the auction through the website. Log in as usual and navigate to the lot of your choice. On the right side of the screen, you will find 'Bid' and 'Auto Bid.' Click on 'How does this work' for more information about automatic bidding.

Click on 'Bid' to see the total amount of your bid, including the buyer's premium and VAT. After accepting the general terms and user conditions by checking the box, click 'Confirm' to place the bid.

What is reserve price?

A reserve price is the (non-visible!) minimum amount that a seller has set for a lot and is the lowest price for which the seller is willing to sell. The highest bidder who meets or exceeds this price wins.

If this price is not met, you can still have a chance to win. The closer your bid is to the reserve price, the greater your chance of winning this lot.

The lot is awarded to the highest bidder whose bid is equal to - or higher than - the reserve price at the end of the auction. If the highest bid has met the reserve price or more, the lot is sold immediately for this price.

What costs are added to my bid?

In addition to your bid, additional costs are incurred in the form of a buyer's premium percentage and VAT. These percentages vary depending on the country. VAT is applied to both your bid and the buyer's premium. Before confirming your bid, you will always receive an overview detailing all relevant amounts associated with your bid, including the final total. This way, you are fully informed about the total amount of your bid.

What is an auto bid versus a manual bid?

An auto bid is a way for you to automatically participate in a bidding process. You enter an amount you are willing to pay for an item and then automatic bids are placed for you up to your maximum bid - but only if necessary. Your maximum bid is hidden from other bidders during the auction. Placed auto bids are indicated by an "A" after the placed bid in the bid history. You need to update a manual bid every time someone outbids you. Keep in mind that an auto bid in the same level as a later manual bid will always lead the auction - because it was placed first.
