With this finish, the leather gets an even, beautiful look. It is suitable as an upholstery cover fabric for indoor use. Genuine cowhide at its finest for the highest demands. A dream for all those who like leather. Here you get a complete leather hide from cattle, not by the meter. Genuine leather is a natural product. The size of a skin is therefore subject to certain fluctuations. If you order this skin from us, you will receive a size of approx. 4.5 m². The finish and dyeing of the leather complies with the strict EU regulations and directives. Please note: Slight irregularities in the leather surface are a sign of genuine leather and do not constitute a defect. With this natural product, there may be slight color deviations between the individual hides. Origin South America: There, the cattle are usually free-roaming on huge pastures, so life is rougher than in the cozy barn. Injuries to the skin from shrubs/thorns, etc. are normal. In addition, the cattle are usually marked with fire tags. Which is why there can be humpback holes and fire marks in the leather. Injuries in the leather are therefore characteristic of the South American leather hides and are not a defect. How do I place a bid?

You can easily participate in the auction through the website. Log in as usual and navigate to the lot of your choice. On the right side of the screen, you will find 'Bid' and 'Auto Bid.' Click on 'How does this work' for more information about automatic bidding.

Click on 'Bid' to see the total amount of your bid, including the buyer's premium and VAT. After accepting the general terms and user conditions by checking the box, click 'Confirm' to place the bid.

What is reserve price?

A reserve price is the (non-visible!) minimum amount that a seller has set for a lot and is the lowest price for which the seller is willing to sell. The highest bidder who meets or exceeds this price wins.

If this price is not met, you can still have a chance to win. The closer your bid is to the reserve price, the greater your chance of winning this lot.

The lot is awarded to the highest bidder whose bid is equal to - or higher than - the reserve price at the end of the auction. If the highest bid has met the reserve price or more, the lot is sold immediately for this price.

What costs are added to my bid?

In addition to your bid, additional costs are incurred in the form of a buyer's premium percentage and VAT. These percentages vary depending on the country. VAT is applied to both your bid and the buyer's premium. Before confirming your bid, you will always receive an overview detailing all relevant amounts associated with your bid, including the final total. This way, you are fully informed about the total amount of your bid.

What is an auto bid versus a manual bid?

An auto bid is a way for you to automatically participate in a bidding process. You enter an amount you are willing to pay for an item and then automatic bids are placed for you up to your maximum bid - but only if necessary. Your maximum bid is hidden from other bidders during the auction. Placed auto bids are indicated by an "A" after the placed bid in the bid history. You need to update a manual bid every time someone outbids you. Keep in mind that an auto bid in the same level as a later manual bid will always lead the auction - because it was placed first.
