The original year of manufacture is not known. The conveyor was overhauled in 2021. After the overhaul and assembly, the conveyor belt has only been in operation in set-up mode for approx. 2 hours. The infeed conveyor serves as a supply store for the bale opener and dewiring unit and can store bales over a length of 10 metres. The chain belt conveyor is controlled via the DW 1400 cross wrap dewiring unit. Whenever a bale is opened, dewired and fed to the feed hopper, a new bale is automatically fed from the feed belt. Technical data for the bale opener and dewiring unit: Manufacturer Cross Wrap OY Type DW 1400 dewiring unit Year of manufacture 2021 (new machine) Operating hours approx. 2 hours (exclusively set-up operation by the manufacturer Cross Wrap) Min./max. permitted bale dimensions: Height min. 700 mm, max. 1400 mm Width min. 700 mm, max. 1400 mm Length min. 1100 mm, max. 2500 mm Bale weights min. 250 kg, max. 2000 kg Bale materials Paper, cardboard, plastic films, plastics, pulp and various other recycling materials Throughput capacity up to 60 bales per hour, depending on material Remark: The bale opener and dewrapper is a new machine, built in 2021 and was operated exclusively by the manufacturer Cross Wrap for approx. 2 hours in set-up mode. The system works fully automatically. Bales are held on the infeed conveyor belt by two hydraulically operated grippers. The bale opener follows the contour of the bale and automatically cuts through the wrapping film and the steel or plastic bale wires with a hydraulically driven, rotating knife. The hydraulically Driven Gripper System holds the film with the steel or plastic bale wires and pulls them out sideways after the opening process. Finally, the wires and film are wound into small coils via a winding unit and ejected into a box via a side chute. Once the bale has been opened and the film and wire removed, it is discharged into the storage bunker with a dosing drum using a conveyor belt. It is then broken down into several pieces. Technical data for the 'steel lamella conveyor' (steel plate conveyor), feed hopper with Dosing drum: Manufacturer Bollegraaf Recycling Solutions B.V. Frequently asked questions

How do I place a bid?

You can easily participate in the auction through the website. Log in as usual and navigate to the lot of your choice. On the right side of the screen, you will find 'Bid' and 'Auto Bid.' Click on 'How does this work' for more information about automatic bidding.

Click on 'Bid' to see the total amount of your bid, including the buyer's premium and VAT. After accepting the general terms and user conditions by checking the box, click 'Confirm' to place the bid.

What is reserve price?

A reserve price is the (non-visible!) minimum amount that a seller has set for a lot and is the lowest price for which the seller is willing to sell. The highest bidder who meets or exceeds this price wins.

If this price is not met, you can still have a chance to win. The closer your bid is to the reserve price, the greater your chance of winning this lot.

The lot is awarded to the highest bidder whose bid is equal to - or higher than - the reserve price at the end of the auction. If the highest bid has met the reserve price or more, the lot is sold immediately for this price.

What costs are added to my bid?

In addition to your bid, additional costs are incurred in the form of a buyer's premium percentage and VAT. These percentages vary depending on the country. VAT is applied to both your bid and the buyer's premium. Before confirming your bid, you will always receive an overview detailing all relevant amounts associated with your bid, including the final total. This way, you are fully informed about the total amount of your bid.

What is an auto bid versus a manual bid?

An auto bid is a way for you to automatically participate in a bidding process. You enter an amount you are willing to pay for an item and then automatic bids are placed for you up to your maximum bid - but only if necessary. Your maximum bid is hidden from other bidders during the auction. Placed auto bids are indicated by an "A" after the placed bid in the bid history. You need to update a manual bid every time someone outbids you. Keep in mind that an auto bid in the same level as a later manual bid will always lead the auction - because it was placed first.
