3.1. Lot detail page
Under the Lot details you find information of the lot number. In the left column is mentioned the number (amount of pieces) that the lot contains, the lot description, the starting date, closing date and time and the remaining time as well as you have the possibility to select the lot to follow it in MyTroostwijk.
On top of the second column are details of the Bidding.
Under Bid you find the next acceptable bid. There under you can place your bid by filling in the amount that you want to bid. Fill in the amount (without full stops, comma’s or decimals)
There are two kinds of bids, Static bid and Proxy bid.
• In a Static bid the User places a bid in the form of a fixed amount per Lot.
• In a Proxy bid the User indicates the maximum price he is prepared to pay for the Lot. The auction system sees to it that, after outbidding by a third party, the next possible higher bid is placed in the name of the User, as long as the maximum indicated by the User has not been reached. The auction system will bid automatically until the maximum offer has been reached.
Before you can place your bid, you need to have accepted the Terms and Conditions of the specific sale (once only).
Under Bid details you will find additional data important for the release of your bid. Besides the starting bid and the current bid is mentioned the following:
• Reserve met. Awarding of a bid normally will be done to the User that places the highest bid. Exceptions are e.g. lots that will later be sold in combination.
• Reserve not met. For this lot, there is a minimum price determined. The minimum price has not yet been reached. After the achieving this minimum price the lot will be annotated “reserve met”.
• Subject to allocation. The highest offer on this lot will be presented to our client and you will be informed within two working days if your bid is awarded.
In addition this section also notes the amount of VAT as well as the buyers premium that will be calculated on top of the amount offered. The buyers premium is our agent’s fee. The buyers premium can change for each auction.
In addition, it is possible that at a lot number has additional costs noted against it. These costs are obligatory and need to be paid by the bidder on top of the purchase price. The additional costs can be for example dismantling and loading costs.

3.2. Make a bid
You can make a bid by filling in the amount and by clicking on the hammer with “Place this bid”.

3.3. A Preview of your bid
After clicking on the hammer with “Place this bid”, you will see a preview of your bid. The preview contains the amount offered increased with VAT, buyers premium and possibly additional costs. When you click on the hammer with “Confirm Bid” is your bid is placed. Your bid is unconditional, irrevocable and without reservation.

3.4. Bid confirmation
You will receive from every bid a bid confirmation by email. Also when you are outbid you will receive a notification of this by email. This is also the case when somebody is bidding against your Proxy bid.

3.5. Combinations
Some lots may be offered individually or together with one or more other lots, as a combination. This will be mentioned in the lot detail page. The lots that belong to a combination are annotated with the   symbol. In this case, first the lots are sold separately and after closing of the separate lots you can bid on the combination lot. Bids on individual lots are only awarded if the highest awarded bids on the individual lots are higher than the highest awarded bid on the combination. The combination is exclusively awarded if the highest awarded bids on the combination is higher than the total amount for the highest awarded bid for the individual lots.

3.6. Adapt Proxy bid
When you a have placed a Proxy bid and you like to adapt it, then you can do so by placing a Static bid for the amount of the next acceptable bid. You are at that moment still the highest bidder, before you are outbid by somebody else. It is not possible to undo, either a Static bid or Proxy bid.

4. End of the auction
After the closing of the last lot, the auction will be closed by Troostwijk. Then Troostwijk will check if the minimum prices have been reached. After the closing of an auction by Troostwijk, you will receive an email with the information that the purchase agreement (pro forma invoice) is placed in MyTroostwijk under My Purchases. In general you will receive this email the same day, but it may take two working days. When you have not received an email within the terms mentioned before, this means that your bid is not allocated.
After logging in you will find the link to your purchase agreement. Also you will find a link to the Specific online auction terms and conditions.

4.1. Payment
